Una de mis canciones favoritas en Español

Sonrisa by Si*Sé

Ida
Venida
Ida
Venida
Iida
Venida

Así debo subir (x3)

Ok! This is my guess for the English translation (sin diccionario!)
This will show you what my level is and how much I can recall off of the top of my head. Hmmmmm, I hope that you're not disappointed!

Here goes .... (between the parentheses.)

Sonrisa by Si*Sé
(Sunrise by Yes I know (?)

Hay tiempos
(There are times)

(that I feel alone in my room) or (that I feel sorry for myself in my room) ... (???)

Y hay tiempos
(and there are times)

(that hours pass and I can't sleep)

(And I have to think that part of life)

como baja el sol así debe subir
(that is below the sun ____ to survive)
[oh my, I'm doing a terrible job!]

(I have to remember my life is ok that ... something about below the sun and survival.)

Ida
Venida
Ida
Venida
Ida
Venida

(Come, Go, Come, Go ... or come, return, ...something like that.)

(There are times that I see myself in a box and can't [escape?])

(There are times, that sadness ____ better for me/of me (?))

The rest is repeated.

Sigh ... Hmmmm ... I hope that I didn't scare you away!

Ok! Now I need to know what the song is really about, so I'm going to put it into my translater in a few minutes.

I may have some questions about structure later. Take care and thanks for sharing!

So now I know that sonrisa is "smile."

Smile by Si*Se

There are days that I feel lonely in a room of a thousand.

And there are days that the hours go by and I cannot sleep

I should just realize, this is part of living the way the sun goes down so it must rise

I must remember life is this way the way I go down so I must rise.

Leaving
Coming
Leaving
Coming

There are days, that it can be seen in my face and I cannot hide it

And there are days, that the sadness takes the better part of me

And I must think, this is part of life the way the sun goes down so it must rise

I must remember that life is this way the way I go down so I must rise

Leaving
Coming
Leaving
Coming

Ok, I wrote the first sentence wrong. I thought that it was "en un cuarto de mi" ... I must have missed the "l" for "mil".

I also confused "subir". I thought that this was "survive." But after looking at your translation and having my dictionary open, I see that I was thinking of "sobrevivir" ... my, my, I was off!

Oh my ... "cara" is face, "caja" is box.

I did a "Peggy Hill" on this one (do you watch "King of the Hill"?)LOL!

Maltizm dijo...

I missed the 'l' for mil so my bad!

But the sentiment is lovely...to accept the good and bad times. It's just another part of life.
